Who is High Tech Inspections? High Tech Inspections is a home inspection company owned and operated by me - Robert Alexander. All home inspections are performed by me personally. As my client, you will see a dedication and commitment to honesty, integrity and my very best effort as the success of my business depends on it.
How did I become a home inspector? Initially, I was trained as a home inspector for real estate investment purposes. I was interested in purchasing residential property to rehab/refurbish and sell for a profit (commonly known as "flipping") and also for rental income. I had a technical and "handy-man" background, however, in order to make sound judgements about these purchases, I looked to home inspectors to help me understand what the issues were with a property. Unfortunately, after some personal experiences with "minimalist" inspectors, I felt there was a better answer.
In December 2003, I completed professional training at a Nationally recognized school for building construction & inspection training. Shortly thereafter, I passed the State of South Carolina license exam for real estate inspectors. Ever since, I have augmented my training and experience with continuing education.
